Personally I would recommend fallout 3. It would appear you enjoy RPGs a great deal and Fallout wont let you down. The franchise already has built a great reputation for itself and this addition for the 360 takes you one a great adventure with an incredible world to explore.
Featuring many open ended options for the already epic story, the gameplay and build for your character is just as vast. The phrase "there is no best build" is insanely true for this game. With the addition of many add ons and expansions you will likely get a good bang for your buck.

These games are absolute must-haves.
If you do not have the original gears I would suggest getting that before any of these, after that I would suggest Bioshock, namely because it isn't getting cheaper any time soon. Once that is done get Gears 2 maybe, both are great games and it doesn't really matter which one you get first but you must get both. Fallout 3 I would definitely get, my favourite game on the 360 (To the point where I've bought every dlc, completed almost every quest, found every unique item and gotten every single type of achievement) However I think you're a bit late with this one. I may suggest holding off for a while, because New Vegas will probably be out by the time you have finished Bioshock and gears and any other games you may get. You may want to think carefully on whether you get 3 or New Vegas. Alternatively you could get Fallout 3 so you're prepared for the new fallout game later this year. it depends on which gameplay type you like most. If you like a FPS (First Person Shooter), the you'd probably want Fallout 3. Borderlands is an MMOFPS (Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter), and it has awesome gameplay, and online play. I suggest you get that one first. But if you just like RPGs (Role Playing Games) then you want to get Oblivion, or Dragon Age, but i suggest Oblivion overall for RPGs

I've heard a lot of hype about a new "Zelda game being "Game of the Year from some of the fellow gamers by both word of mouth and the internet, but is this game really worthy of that title or fall flat it's face as the "Biggest Screw-Up of the Decade"? Suggestions for a PC or Xbox RPG?
I just finished the Skyrim story quests and it left me less than satisfied and I wanted something to play until I get over it and come back to play the Civil War and side quests, which is what I proffered originally, but having no final boss to look forward to makes me not want to go into caves and dungeons to find better equipment/shouts. Not to mention, I beat the final boss on master difficulty in less than 5 minutes (Dragon Age took me 45 minutes because my party died in the final boss, THAT was a good ending for me), plus reasons that I don't want to talk about because of spoilers.
Anyways, enough ranting, what are some good RPG's for PC or Xbox. I've beaten both Mass Effects, Dragon Age, Oblivion, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, blah blah blah. Would Fallout 3 or New Vegas be a good place to go? I was previously thinking Diablo 2 but I don't think I have the patience for a game that old and left to rot by Blizzard right now.Suggestions for a PC or Xbox RPG?

You should try playing Star Wars: Knights of the old republic. That game is by far the best game bioware has ever made. It's pretty similar to mass effect in a lot of ways, but better is pretty much every way apart from graphics of course.
If your put off by the fact that it is a star wars games, well dont be. I don't even like star wars, but that game is easily in my top 10 favourite games of all time.
But fallout 3 %26amp; new vegas are pretty good too. I actually like it more than elder scrolls because of the post apocalyptic theme. If you play fallout 1 %26amp; 2, and fully understand them, then you'll have a LOT of appreciation and a bigger understanding of the fallout games though. That is, if you can get over the extremely old school graphics.

Should i get Elder Scrolls 4 for the xbox 360?
I had elder scrolls 3 for the xbox a long time ago and my brother and I didn't like it...is the gameplay sorta the same as Dragon Age or Fable 2?Should i get Elder Scrolls 4 for the xbox 360?
The gameplay isn't really similar to Dragon Age. I suppose there's kind of a resemblance to Fable 2, in that you can buy houses and get assassination jobs, and that type of thing.

If u don't have live just play some assassins creed 2- Great storyline and long carrier play.
Since I just red ur ques I see u have creed 2 but Halo reach, Fable 3, and True crime 2010. All 3 of those look insane. I'll be getting reach as it is the last Halo while true crime was a jaw dropping game when it first came out so the saga to it should be cool. I put Fable in there because of the intensive storyline.

I just got Batman: Arkym Asylum.......enjoying it very much, haven't been gaming in a while so I'm definately loving the new graphics they have now.
I have both Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed 2. Both are excellent games. Dragon Age is for people who like RPGs and like to micro-manage their party. You travel the map with up to 4 characters in your party and in order to play the game well you need to keep track of all 4 characters moves and skills.
Assassin's Creed 2 is gorgeous and a lot of fun. Ubisoft fixed a lot of the problems they had with the first Assassin's Creed.
Both games are nice to look at, have good story lines, and will keep you busy for a long time.

My friend downloaded The Black Emporium for Dragon Age 2 (for Xbox 360) on my Xbox (but with her HDD) and it works online and offline - on my Xbox with her HDD.
If the HDD is placed in HER Xbox, the DLC only works online. When the Ethernet is unplugged, the game claims the DLC is "corrupt" - clearly it isn't because it works with various other setups.
I read one solution, which is to delete the DLC and reinstall it. Will that be safe? Won't the redemption code say it's been used?

Why do I feel so drowsy playing certain video games?
Recently its been happening again while playing Dragon Age 2 for xbox 360. I love the game and want to keep playing but it seems after a half hour i start to feel so drowsy this is a very uncomfortable drowsy where i gotta lay down immediately or it feels like I'm going to collapse. The other game I remember this happening was when I played one of the harry potter games for PS2 a long time ago and with a couple others but this is rare and always happens to games I love playing. I sit about 4ft away from the TV but other games don't bother me when I sit this close. Why is this happening when I play Dragon Age 2?

What is the best PlayStation 3 RPG?
My Xbox recently got RROD, so now I'm getting a PS3 and have some money to get a couple games ($128.05, to be exact). I am really into RPGs, because I like to customize my character. I am definitely going to get Crysis 2 and inFAMOUS (the first one), which will leave me with $76.02. I was really into Dragon Age: Origins when I had it, but I only got through it once with a rogue because I couldn't kill the Archdemon (I sucked and gave up). I used to also have Dragon Age 2 for Xbox, and liked how you could control your attacks, but I got barely past the Deeproads expedition until it RRODed. I have about 5 choices: Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, Dragon Age 2 Bioware Signature Edition, Fallout 3 GOTY, Final Fantasy, or Dungeon Siege III. I can get two of those 5 choices, unless there is anything better (and please don't say Oblivion, because I've beaten it about 5 times). I'm looking for one that has character customization, so can you please help?BTW I don't want any fanboy crap from you 360 fans, you have to admit the PS3 is the better console, so SHUTUP. Okay, Fallout 3 GOTY is a great game and has lots of play through hours and has good graphics. You can customize your person's face but not his body type. Unlike Oblivion, it has you picking, like, three classes in the beginning. But as you progress, you are able to get perks, based on your S.P.E.C.I.A.L points (strength, charisma, intellegence, etc.) and your skill points (sneak, small guns, speech, barter, etc.). I bought it about a year ago and still haven't got platinum.

So I got dragon age origins for christmas and yesterday I must of played for 8-9 hours straight, this morning I started playing it and after about an hour it froze, then I let it sit for like 30 minutes, then it froze after about 2 hours of play. Alright, so im on the "entering jarvia's hideout" and this seems to be a common bug/error. I talked to everyone in the dust town offered silver//gold and i got some answers from people. After that, i walked into "Slums house" where i got ambushed and killed the leader knowing i would get the "FINGER-BONE" i didn't and i've been trying to find a way around this for about 2 days now. i re-talked to everyone even went to the door and found nothing. and i even re-entered the house to make sure i wasnt missing anything. But... not even a single skeleton remains.I'm on the XBOX 360 version not PC. so if anyone can help please please help.Dragon Age: Origins FINGER-BONE HELP!?

Right, so i have 2 questions:
1. I noticed that on Pc, whilst i shoot a bow, it does take some time to use skills such as Pinning shot or Scatter shot, whilst on xbox its almost instant, im not sure whether its my pc's performance, or whether i dont have awakening expansion or not, but does anyone know why this is so?
2. After a while of playing i get very long load times, i still havnt found a fix for it yet, and it has been goin on for ages, ive been looking on internet for a long time, but no resolve yet, anyone know any solutions?Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening?
I've had both of those things happen. I just figured, that for the first one, using a skill takes a longer time than an automatic shot. Maybe there's a difference in the two consoles on how it's played.
On the second part, it's a fairly easy fix. Just save, exit the game completely, and open it again. It should be back up to speed, but I still have no idea what causes it. I suppose it does help a little. It keeps you saving often enough. (though it is a pain)

There's variant/mod available in which you can play as a dragon, or many of the other monsters you normally fight in the game. When you come into town, the townspeople flee from you, and even the shopkeepers close their doors in terror. Any way to fix this Xbox 360 problem?
I was playing Dragon Age today and walked away for a few minutes with the console still on. My 2 year old closed the entertainment center doors while I was in the other room and when I came back I didn't notice. Started playing again and the xbox made a weird noise and crashed. No audio or video. No RRoD. Console was very warm when I discovered what happened. Let it cool down and it will load the dashboard, but crashes again after I start playing a game. Is it scrap metal?Any way to fix this Xbox 360 problem?

Sacred 2 fallen angels quite epic and you can spend about two hours doing the first 10 main quests and there are all sorts of stuff. fable 1 is always good. alpha protocol is another espionage rpg thats quite good.

Sacred 2 fallen angels quite epic and you can spend about two hours doing the first 10 main quests and there are all sorts of stuff. fable 1 is always good. alpha protocol is another espionage rpg thats quite good.

Hrm...I probably shouldn't post on this question because I don't have a 360 or a PS3, but I really really wanted to say this: Get Psychonauts for XBOX. It's all backwards-compatible anyways, right? Psychonauts is seriously the best game I've ever played, and the storyline is incredibly fun, twisted, and hilarious.

Well, Dragon age is personally my Favorite game. You should try it on the hardest mode if it isn't HARDCORE enough for you soldier. Dragon age is all about making all the right moves. Not just pressing one button after another.

I'm thinking about buying this game, so I wanted to ask some questions before, just to be sure if I should.
1- What exactly do you have to do in this game?
2- Is there marriage or pregnancy?
3- Are there many differences on playing with a male or female character?

After you download the file from a torrent, you must then write it to a dvd(that can hold all the info). To do so, you must use a program capable of writing an .ISO or .DVD file to a DVD. I know Nero 7 can write .ISO files.
YOU MUST have the game chip or have your xbox flash.
To my understanding, a game chip allows the xbox to read the disk by holding the info necessary to read/covert it to a readable format. As for the hard drive, unlike the PS3, the Xbox holds its info necessary to turn the Xbox on, on the hard drive. By flashing you are removing the base install for the system Operating System, then you re install a version of the OS that will allow you to play, that or it removes info that blocks the use of pirated games.
A ISO is a IMAGE of a disk, so if you write it to the write DVD, it would be as if you had the real game in there, BUT the dvd you put in there does not have the special unlock code on the inside ring like a factory retail disk does.
I have no clue on the video/audio formats, just google it.
I wouldn't recommend buying the best system, if you are going to make it illegal, seeing as how if you get caught they will ban your online, or if your system breaks, you can not get it fixed. To my understanding, the Xbox can connect up to 4 wireless controllers at one time like the PS3 (yet there is no game that uses more than 4).
And yes, if they catch you, you can get banned for playing pirated games. No, there is no way to avoid it other than not connecting to xbox live. I also doubt on that last one, the amount of work that would be needed to allow someone to play the game like the originals would be too much. In theory possible, the chances are unlikely though.
Lastly I want to let you know, I am answering this question for information purposes. I do NOT recommend that you do this. I believe that you should buy used games on Ebay and save the hassle and the fact it is illegal.

My brother purchased Awakening from Xbox live and you don't receive a UPC code when you download it directly. It's not a big deal, but I frequent the Bioware boards a lot and I wanted to register the game as I have with the others that I own (Mass Effect 1 %26amp; 2, Dragon Age:Origins, Dragon Age II etc) so that I can view my character stats via their website, but without a UPC code I can't do that.
All I need is for someone with the hard copy of the game that doesn't intend to register it on the Bioware boards to let me use it. At least, as far as I know it is that simple. Otherwise I'm stuck.

Dragon Age for a 17y/o not-so-experienced gamer?
A lot of my friends love playing Dragon Age and are anticipating the new one coming out, so I was wondering if I should give it a shot. As stated in the question, I'm almost 17 and I've only really played games on Nintendo DS and playstation 1/2. It sounds pretty good from what I've heard so far but I don't want to buy it without being totally sure. Oh and I want to buy it on PC. (Since I don't have an Xbox)

Dragon Age Origins is pretty hardcore. Some knowledge of traditional RPG mechanics is recommended. It's a very tactical game and puts you in control of four characters at a time. The game does have a 'casual' difficulty setting for people who have little or no experience playing traditional RPGs.

Dragon age 1 was good but it might be a little too fiddly and involved for you, it depends on your personality. They are both story based games but there is a lot of stuff like assigning stat points choosing strength or dexterity or picking which armour to wear based on it stats.
Some people just don't have the patience for that sort of thing (my brother doesn't).
Dragon age 2 is more actiony, so it might be easier to just jump straight into number 2. The story does assume you know stuff from number 1, but it isn't vitally important. You could just ask your friend for a quick summary of what the the original game was about and roughly what happened.
The demo has already been released too so you can test it out before you buy it to see if it suits you before the full game is released.

Also if you played the first one, you can import a character, changing the story line again. However, just Mass Effect 2 is a great standalone game.
Also, try getting the DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, Fable 2, and AC2

I played it on the xbox box and hated hated hated it horrible graphics and horrible control system and layout. I then got a copy for the PC and it was brilliant the ui style is a little like world of warcraft. My pc is the roughly the same specs as yours and im happy playing it bit glitchy but still you could always upgrade you PC perfect excuse i think :DDragon age Origins Question!?
It will look better on the PC, have a good video card? The XBox cannot really be upgraded.

- Both are good games. Origins is much longer and has a better story. It will also set the stage for the second game. But, you don't need to play it to enjoy DA2. So it's up to you.

- Origins is much better on the PC in every way. DA2 was improved on the consoles, but I still prefer the PC. You are also able to download mods for the game from the PC. Since there is no multiplayer it shouldn't matter what your friend has.Dragon Age help please?
I have DA2 but not origins, and after playing it for a while and hearing peoples comments who have played both, I would probably have preferred origins. I believe the game experience should be different on pc and xbox but from what I hear, the pc is somehow better.

- Both are good games. Origins is much longer and has a better story. It will also set the stage for the second game. But, you don't need to play it to enjoy DA2. So it's up to you.
